I love how in the train and ferry videos people wave goodbye to the passengers departing. That’s so sweet. These videos help me relax after very long night shifts at the hospital. It’s not just wholesome content, it is also very witty. Thank you for the content.

Thank you for taking us around areas we might no otherwise get exposure to. Although this particular train may not have the best amenities, you more than make up for the trip with the little side notes and visits. Many thanks, Solo-Solo. That shrine is beautiful, despite all the steps. The countryside was beautiful too. Someday, I hope to visit Japan, but until that day, I get to enjoy through your videos. Thank you for these videos and thank you, for including your humor into them!
Please make more! I've now watched all the videos there are :( It's so relaxing, the most peaceful way to fall asleep for sure. I've had trouble falling asleep my whole life, unless when traveling. It puts my mind at rest for some reason. With your videos I am finally able to have this at home as well. No talking just relaxing background sounds. And with the subtitles I have something interesting/funny to read to distract me from anything else going on. I'd be happy to donate so you can make a few more video's! Keep it up!

The Kii peninsula is an absolutely stunning place to visit. It is steeped in mystery and has a very divine feel to it. Perhaps this is why that the most important shrine in Japan, Ise, is located here. Shingu has a famous torch festival which only men can participate in. I have had the pleasure of filming this festival and have also visited the waterfall that Solo Solo did also. Perhaps one my most recommended places to visit is the ruins of Saiku (斎宮) where the Saio (斎王様=Saio-sama)lived in ancient Japanese history. The Saio was the daughter of the Emperor and naturally, there were several . It is a beautiful place and there is a museum dedicated to the history of the Saio. There is also a Saio Festival which is really worth visiting. Saiku is located in Meiwa (明和町), Mie Prefecture and the train station is Saiku station.

Thanks for sharing your trip! I have to say, when I was in Tokyo last month visiting family, I had the best time with family and the food was exceptionally good and extremely cheap (I could not believe it)! I’d go back there any day. People there are very kind and civilized!!! Looks like you had a great train trip and the food you ate (except the raw fish) looked really delicious. Seven years ago, I visited these temples, the waterfall and the little town where you eat. My ryokan was on a small island that you reach by boat. The scenery is beautiful and you can bravely walk up to the temples with thousands of steps (or take the bus like you).

Hey solo had me laughing with you climbing up the stairs saying help. Why is it always the shrines in any country or the top of hills with a lot of stairs. Glad you made it up there and the scenery was beautiful. Especially the shrine next to the waterfall. Now the train looked comfortable. You got a nice size room for your price. And the stops look very interesting. And all the food you ate looked good. Someone get a really good adventure. I really enjoyed. Can't wait for for your next video
