Hi, I’m a producer for ABC's "Tamron Hall" - a nationally syndicated talk show based in New York. We are working on a show about the people who are thriving. I came across an article on the Wander women. And the three of you seem to be the definition of thriving and living life to its fullest. I would love to talk to you about the possibility of being on the show. Thanks! Becky

So nice to have bike trails to train on -- without cars!! Your legs will get stronger so fast -- go find an overpass to go up and down for some hills - every little bit helps. This makes me want to get out on my bike tomorrow.

That’s my end of town. The quietest part of the loop. To circle Tucson is about 56 miles, but the entire system of trails has over 130 miles. Make sure you do the rest of the loop while you are here. I also recommend the Cañada del Oro River Park trail that connects from the NW of The Loop up to Catalina State Park.

It was fun to watch you girls bike and so many times I found myself getting a little dizzy as you went around curves. It's been so long since I biked, but I do love it. Use to ride and camp on the canal trails they have here in Virginia. Thanks for bringing us along. I really do enjoy every minute of it. Blessings, Teri

What a great bike trail. The more you ride, the more you’ll be able to ride. Definitely different than backpacking. But such a great way to see our country.

Biking sure goes faster, but I think I prefer hiking! Biking against the wind is a pain! I live in a rather flat country, so I know all about it! 😁 All the best, Kaat

Getting your feet wet for real! This is going to be very interesting to see how cycling will compare with hiking. As you said in an earlier video, cycling is using a whole new set of muscles. I'm sure rooting for you guys...you can do it! And that's a pretty cool trail, too!

Really enjoying your videos. Nice to see you biking. I have completed a bike ride from Seattle to Bar Harbor and a hike of the AT. There are so many different criteria to consider it is up to the individual which is harder or more enjoyable. Both will leave you with lasting memories. Both will have days that are great from beginning to end. Both will have days with conditions that will push you to your limit. Have fun and make more memories.

I've got lots of hiking and bike touring experience, and would suggest you take your time and do not try and ride a certain amount of miles, especially the first week or so, hopefully I'll get to meet you all as I will be starting the GART in May after trail days.

Hi, I have been following you for a few of your wonderful adventures. I’m fairly new to hiking I am more of a cyclist. I started cycling at age 54 more or less and I have not been on a bike since a kid. This year in April I will be turning 60 and I will be hiking Section A of the PCT. I have heard about this huckleberry loop in Tucson and with your video I hope I can do it after my hike maybe sometime in the fall. You 3 are so awesome and are such an inspiration. I heard you mention in your video cycling is hard, believe me, walking is much harder. I’ve completed 1 century cycling event in October of 2018. Believe me the training was hard, but I did it👍😅 so you can do it. A whole different set of muscles to be used. That’s why I’ve been training hard for my hike. Won’t be easy, especially at my height of 4’11”, and my age. I know there will be pain, just as in my century ride training. Long grueling miles 😅😅I’ve done 3-6 mi. Runs few times. But you all are such an inspiration I know I got this👍 I will make this my hike❤️

You will both be great on your bike tour! Just like backpacking, you’ll get into a rhythm. Personally, I found going from bike touring to backpacking was much harder. I promise you, once your body adapts to cycling (and it will), you won’t have nearly the aches and pains that you have after a thru-hike.

Liked the fact that that trail has underpasses at major intersections. Here in Phoenix most of the intersections are surface level with a verity of signals or none at all. There are plenty of red light runners or people on their phones. You have to be extra careful. Happy riding. Hoping to do a cross country ride before I get too old. Thinking Seattle to Sault St Marie on US 2.

That is a great bike trail. There is nothing better than cycling on a good surface without having to worry about cars and trucks. You can totally focus on enjoying the ride. Your fitness will improve with these daily rides. Make sure to train in how to eat snacks and take in fluids on the move. This will be important on longer days. Get your hydration and eating systems sorted as it is easy to not take in enough, waiting until you stop, rather than eat/drink frequent small amounts on the bike.

Tucson resident here. Glad you are here. FYI, it is GEM show time, population grows by multiple thousands, with visitors My advice is pick up the loop off the freeway I-10 somewhere. Not sure where you are staying but you can pick up the loop at many places. To avoid a million stop lights. Christina-Taylor green memorial river park segment. Also google chuck huckleberry, he had an unfortunate bike accident a bit ago and he is recovering. Be safe out there.

I used to live in Tucson, and of course this path wasn't there then. It looks like most of it has a dirt track next to it. Some of the areas are remote enough that you could almost use it as an urban shake-down backpacking trail.

I loved Tucson when I was there years ago. So much to see and do and some of that involves stargazing. Orion is an evening constellation now and his sword will give you a peek inside a huge stellar nursery (M42) if you use bincoulars.
