Over several years, I've watched videos of Switzerland-based Alpine Coasters and thought about how much fun that would be.
And look! Just a dozen miles west of New Braunfels, Texas, USA (somewhat in my backyard) a really interesting place "Camp Fimfo" has introduced a welded steel Alpine Coaster that snakes between cedar trees, lots of rocks, and the Hills of the Texas Hill Country!
How well does this meet expectations? Watch the video to learn!
If you decide to try it (and you should), visit their website at:
campfimfo.com/...
The weather was sunny, light breeze, 80 degrees F, blue skies, and low tree pollen!
The Camp Fimfo staff were great! Welcoming, friendly, and informative. There's a number of interesting things to do there -- will definitely return to check out their other adventures.
So.... let's see what it's like.
