Not a fan of splashing moisture while riding your Ridley Kanzo Adventure? Then opt for our special fenders/mudguards! We have prepared the following step-by-step guide for the installation of the mudguards.
Required tools:
- 3mm Allen key
- 6mm Allen key
- It's advisable to place the bicycle on a mounting stand before you begin. It's also necessary to remove the two wheels from the bicycle.
Step-by-step guide:
Rear fender:
1: Remove the rear wheel and take out the rubber plugs or bolts on the inside of the seat stays
2: Insert plastic bracket holder on the mudguard in the hole and twist the long bracket in place
3: Slide the fender clamps over the bracket
4: Put a washer over the 20mm screw and put it through the mudguard, add plastic spacer on top of the bolt
5: Mount the mudguard to the seat tube using the 20mm bolt
6: Mount the bracket with its clamps on the inside of the seat stays using 15mm bolts
7: Reinstall rear wheel in the bike. Attention: Manually adjust the distance between the rear wheel and the mudguard by sliding the bracket in the clamps
Front fender:
8: Insert plastic bracket holder on the mudguard in the hole and twist the long bracket in place
9: Slide the fender clamps over the bracket
10: Install mudguard to the fork with the 15mm bolt
11: Mount the bracket on the fork in the second
hole of the fork, using 15mm bolts on both sides
ATTENTION: If necessary align the fender with the wheel
