By far my favorite guest on Gibson Tv. Molly Miller is one of the absolute most well rounded and knowledgeable Musicians, guitar players, and Teachers. She is a phenomal Guitar Teacher, without her i would have never understood CAGED on a deep level and showed all it uses. And now i see why so many people hate CAGED or think its not a great way to learn, they just dont understand it and all that it offers. LOVE YOU MOLLY!!!!

Great spot!! Dr. Molly is a monster player, not for a woman, for an artist. Really laid-back no stress teaching style too. I love Molly's version of Dream a Little Dream of Me, with her brother on drums. a joy to behold. The axes are pretty stout as well. IOPOGFAR- I Only Play On Gibsons For A Reason. Ü ♫

So glad you mentioned Ted Greene at the end. Until I bought Chord Chemistry, I had no idea how many different ways you can play the same chord. 30 ways, sometimes 40 ways. Although most of the options are super painful for the hands or almost/pretty much impossible..it's a giant eye opener of a book.

I have a seeking for advice question: my foundation for reading music through the last 25 years as a sax player is based upon the do re mi etc system. When I try to teach myself guitar, I find information online based only upon the CBDEFGAB system. Any tips, smarts or advice for assimilating those parallel systems? Thanks in advance for any mind muffins :)
