This is one of those movies that read like a 10 yr old wrote the script: "There are these ninjas, and they're bad guys. They're so bad they ride bikes. And then there's the good guys. They do martial arts, and they are friends and go to school together. And they have a band and play the guitar! But then the bad guys don't like them and don't like their music and don't like it that they're so much better at martial arts than the bad guys are. So then they fight, and they use swords, and one of the good guys almost gets killed! But the good guys win, they kill everyone and they all return to school the next day. The end."

The fight choreography is really good and the storyline is cool too. His Hang-Up was that he had no filmmaking experience. I really liked the structure of that Take One, Take One song: verse, chorus 1, chorus 2, verse, verse, verse, verse, verse, verse, chorus 1, verse, chorus 2, FIST PUMP!

This movie is honestly the real life version of something like Double Dragon, Final Fight, Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle, or Crime Busters/Crime Busters 2, but not nearly as well done as those video games.

I mean to be fair, most of those were directly inspired by the movie Streets of Fire. Which I recommend btw.

I love this movie for how seriously fun, exciting and goofy it is. With or without Rifftrax. Miami Connection is great.

I was around long before the 80's and I've seen more than my fair share of bad movies from that decade, but dear God this is awful. Thanks RiffTrax for making it intenitally funny!
