Raisina Dialogue 2024 | Rights, Security and Innovation in the Digital Century | Countries, companies and citizens are all seeking to find a balance between the opportunities that digital innovation presents and the harm it could do. This panel will examine the issues at stake and different approaches to that balance.
•Are there differing approaches to innovation, rights and security emerging in Europe, America, India, and other parts of the world? What are their strengths and disadvantages - and which model is best placed to offer a more liberal alternative to China’s?
•America and China have a head-start in many forms of innovation, from platforms to generative AI. Can other parts of the world catch up?
•How should individuals protect themselves online in an age of AI and cyberthreats? Are governments and companies providing them with enough support in this endeavour?
