Don't you just love when a performer gives an historical lesson behind the playing style or an old song? Thank you Riley for this great video. We much appreciate your work and all the soulful old timey music. All the best to you!

Added to my “liked” playlist. Thank you sir. Love the Round Peak style. It’s what makes old time banjo so unique. A different style in every holler.

Awesome thanks for sharing I’ve only just started to play banjo, and old time is where it is at for at this time. Really digging your style.

NO OFFENSE...BUT ...CAN YOU PLAY NAIL THAT CATFISH TO A TREE...OR WALK ALONG JOHN TO KANSAS...THESE ARE MELODY FIDDLE TUNES ...WHAT YOU PLAY IS REPETITIVE NOISE

"No offense", then proceeds to offend in the most deliberate way. No offense, but your opinion is repetitive noise.

your ears are busted mate. This is round peak style, it is extremely melodic and the tone is beautiful. The 'repetitive noise' you speak of is the hypnotic, trance-like quality of this music.
