Great video, there are a number of these casting that provide the opportunity to paint lights, door handles and wheel swaps that would make them look great in a persons collection

MBX ❤. MR2 & Opel are my favorites. The Volvo is great but I don’t like the wheel choice on it.

The Ford Custom 300 sedan and the Honda N600 off-road for me. I'll def be grabbing the latter when/if I see one. Fun "unboxing," Thanks.

Thanks for another cool video, Championgjk ! As in case with the blue Porsche cabriolet, the first time that casting was made is in 1998, then it was retooled in 2019. When there's a single date mentioned, it means that's still the only casting to this day. Matchbox is still more toy company, rather than precise model one, like the Autoworld and Mini GT, for instance, so they make approximately same sized models to fit in children's hands properly (I know it's obvious, so my apologies for the explanation). You are fortunate enough to get all models with the tampos properly placed, quite often they are offset significantly, which spoils the whole impression from the model. Really diggin the variety you showed us today ! Agreed, sometimes getting tired of various supercars, good to see castings of ordinary cars, Volvo is the example. That yellow jeep also looks cool !

There is a date code on the bottom of each casting, not just the copyright date. The 32 Ford for example @11:15 shows M44 which means it was made in the factory in 2019, on the 44th week. Which was 10/28-11/3 of that year

I agree with you. Matchbox has those regular everyday cars that we all like. Hot Wheels has to many imaginary cars that don’t look real and lack detail. Matchbox has much better details by far.

Just a correction,, it's pronounced "Hi-Lux" not "HEE-LIX". The MR2 also has a left hand drive and right hand drive variations AND headlights up and headlights down variations. Great Video.

The Chevy C-10 wheelbase doesn't look right. There's more fender in front of the rear wheel than behind the wheel. The Mustang convertible looks boxy like you said, but it also looks too short overall. Like the rest you showed, my favorites was the Mercedes AMG 63 and the Lambo LM002.

I would love it they could bring back/make putting the scale size on the base as standard. With regards to aviation, collecting diecast aircraft models is one of my other hobbies. Not a recommend-able hobby as top-tier diecast aircraft models are crazy expensive.

@@Championdjk The largest you can get in terms of diecast commercial airliner models is 1/200 scale. Mahagony wood models can go up to 1/100 scale. I don't think airliner models larger than 1/100 scale exists, save for those made by Boeing or Airbus themselves 😄.

Walmart seems to have had a stocking issue with AW but the pegs are getting stock again. Lots of online hobby shops stock them where you can order if not at your local store.
