I'm actually surprised the full diesel lanzs made it to Australia at all. I thought we only got the hot bulb engines.

HO John! This was VERY interesting. You need a quiet place to explain who bought out who. He had a lot of NICE stuff there, not that you don't, of course! And the deal with the horse was VERY good! I suppose the off-lander/sider was the camera person! Thanks again John! Your videos are always interesting! Ant the Lanz has a POP like the old D-7 cats did before being turbocharged.

Sorry about the noise, we were working with some real amateurs there who'd never been on set before. John Deere bought out Lanz, and Australian Chamberlain, just so they could kill/merge the brands.

I go with KILL. I've never been a real deere fan. Tha Lanz and Chamberlain were FINE tractors. Deere was greedy but a lot of them are, and getting greedier every second. And thanks for the explanation. What you called them in the video was right. CHEERS and waiting on the next one!

It might be an easy way to start a Lanz Bulldog but you it can damage your conrod. Not to mention that a flying rope can be quite dangerous. Your Lanz looks nice, take care of it!

@@arnemagnus680 Don't tell me you actually know Herr Lukins here in Western Australia?

Why would you do that? If unsure on the starting of the tractor, ask. Where do you start with the dangers of what you are doing.

While starting on gasoline you can easily start it with Hand. Why do you use a rope?

Just showing off an over-the-top way to start it up. Also the old boys aren't as strong as they used to be for cranking...
