God, I’m gonna miss these older 2009 Gillig Low Floor Buses. They’ve been here since forever, maybe nearly 14 years now. The 2005 Gillig Low Floor Buses Lasted longer, for about 16 years. Longer than the 2004 Orion V’s, which these Orion V Buses lasted only around 14 years. I hope RIPTA probably gets Brand new Gillig BRT Hybrids for 2023, or 2024, Or probably some new 2023 or 2025 Gillig Low Floor buses, which looks a lot better than 2009 Gillig Low Floor buses.

Possible if they retire this year.

I probably think these only operate at the weekends now.

@@helpmeoctopus UPDATE: around 15 or 16 Gillig Low Floor Buses used by RIPTA, are now being used as spares, and will only be used if one bus goes out of service, or just some random issue with another bus. If ripta eventually gets new 2023 or 2024 ripta Gillig low floor buses, they’ll be powered be diesel like always, there would be an uncertain amount of buses, like around 32, if RIPTA does get rid of the 2013 BRT Buses for 2026.

Because of that ugly horrible thing on the top rear roof of the bus.
