Tim writes most of the songs, but theres more instruments then the guitar in hero of war. There is 2 guitars, drums, bass. So it's the band playing it on the album. Therefore Rise Against - Hero of War.

Tim couldn't even reach the high notes. Go listen to GN'R version again. Before Axl starts singing the high notes, he puts a shit tonne of emotion in it.

I don't think that I have to with Hans-Josef-Kasper by my side ;-) Listening to music is never subjective. You can tell people what you like most, ya. But if you compare music, it's always objective.. And the power and energy that Myles puts into Civil War is surreal. Not so Tim's version, he's really in need of breath support. Don't get me wrong, his songs are awesome, and he performs them awesome, because it's just his thing, you know? But you can never compare Tim with a singer, who studies belcanto since 19 years. Never. And btw - Justin Bieber's ''voice'' is even more withered.

+Leandro Monteiro you also cant ignore the fact that Axl Rose's voice has a high tone already to it. Tim's voice has his own raspiness going on from screaming punk for over 15 years. its quite incomparable and even if it is than both of them have their own voice style and tone.
