Pronville, Northern France, 29 June 1917. A flight of Albatros D.III's and D.Va's take off for an early morning patrol along the front line. The encounter with two RFC Bristol F.2B's turns into a defeat for the British, but a German pilot's engine is hit and he is forced to glide back past no man's land for an emergency landing.
The story which is told in this short movie is fictional, but similar events could have taken place on the Western Front.
