At one time there was a video, of him playing La Bamba at his school, or someplace he was up on a stage. It was 100 % genuine. He sang the song, played the guitar, and moved like a Real life clip. There was No splicing his voice into non-moving pictures, or added later. I guess someone got greedy, and had to make money off of it. It's gone. This was about ten years ago. The same thing happened with a clip of Marlene Dietrich singing "Where have all the Flowers gone" from the "stage " of a flat bed military truck. She was singing to our troops overseas. It was the best version I've ever heard. It would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. It has been replaced by later versions, when she was much older, and lacks something important. Can't pinpoint what is missing, maybe her soul. Another Ripley's believe it or not: Marlene Dietrich was the FIRST performer to sing : "Where have All The Flowers Gone,", on a stage, Live. Everyone thinks it was a group that did it years later, but that's incorrect. It was that beautiful lady from Germany, that moved to our country , and became an American. Not Peter, Paul , and Mary, or the Kingston Trio-- No , not them. Look it up.
