Seems like plenty of grayling in there MO. When I were a kid if there was a tree fell in the water they were soon down there with a gang of blokes clearing it up. It seems they don't bother now eh.then they wonder why it floods eh mate.

There are definitely brown trout in there! See the video on my channel. I've also got another video coming from a trip I did to the Alyn River this year, with some brown trout caught.

Your handling of the fish, especially these grayling who are known to be quite delicate is pitiful. Pulling up the dorsal as well, who’d have thought that a fish had such a fin, what a discovery

I have stated in several videos that I am happy and welcome advise. Myself like most are no expert but I love fish and everything about what goes on under the surface. Shame you don't show people the same respect you seem to show fish. Rather than being rude, you could be helpful, which would help prevent whatever has got you so upset. I've seen peoole like John Wilson and Tern Hern, amongst others, holding dorsal fins up to admire their catch. I never said anything about a discovery. If you do have some helpful advice, please share?

@@fishingforbiteswithmo Didn’t think you were a beginner Mo, but here’s some common sense tips - wet your hands before you handle fish, better still unhook them in the net and let them slip away gently or if needs be hold them gently in the current if they need to recover. Maybe research the fish you are targeting before going out. Don’t be so touchy, no disrespect was meant but I saw what I saw🎣

@@robsmith8024 I'm not a beginner. I have fished for nearly 40 years, but I like everyone else is always learning and trying to do better. I do wet my hands often when fishing and even use a bait tub for that purpose in the summer when my hands dry quicker between fish. I have seen people who are classed as experts handle fish just as I have. I watched the video back and can see some fell back inches from the water this is because they are wriggling and fighting fit Ready to be returned. When necessary I have held Grayling for 5 minutes or more as they can be very fragile. In my experience though if you keep them out for as shorter period as possible they go back fine. As I said I welcome feedback to make myself a better angler but your comment was not helpful if you'd of added the advise in the 2nd comment it would of helped. No point telling people they are doing it wrong without explaining why and how to do it right. It's not easy putting yourself out there for people to judge you I am just trying to show my passion for angling.
