An interesting observation Dave and a connection between flooding and weed growth is one that I had not made. Seeing that weed growth coming back is a wonderful sight. Fingers crossed like you say that it continues to grow back. Thank you. Paul 👍😊

It’s just my opinion Paul but either way it’s great to see strong sustained growth. 👍

@@anglingescapadeswithdavero2363 Your opinion is not one that I had considered until I heard you express it Dave. It makes sense and like you say, either way it's heartening to see those green shoots 👍😊

It's great to see it's coming back and I agree with you that it's not pollution that's got rid of it but it's not helped with it's regrowth as there's spots that should be covered in it by now but they aren't due to the slime covering the bottom. Might be a completely different type of weed but left bank is a prime example there seems to be nothing there n it should be covered by now

I think that was my main worry Albie. That the pollution levels would stop it growing back. It’s going to take a long time but the fact it’s growing strongly in areas is positive. The area below the left bank is the one. I have a picture of me stood mid river surrounded by white flowers in 2019. A traditional growth area. Be interesting to see if there’s any signs now.
