Great video! I was in the American Army National Guard, so my rifle was the often-maligned M16A2. I have a Galil ACE....I think that lid locking mechanism on your rifle was a genius design. The Israelis just made the lid extremely tight. Removing it in a hurry would be a problem, especially if your hands were wet or cold. I had a Steyr AUG for a while...you are right about bullpups.

The cool thing you hit on, the Czech VZ-58. Your RK and the VZ both use milled receivers, not stamped. Yes, it locks back on the last shot fired. Also, instead of the rotating hammer it uses the liner hammer design. The receiver cover cross lock your RK has is almost like the one on Serbian/Yugo P.A.P. series of rifles accept, its a push pin. My big downer on bullpups, is no ambidexterity. The French FAMAS F1's could be set up to be used left handed but, not in a hurry. Oddly enough, it has a carry handle, to protect its charging handle from being knocked around and damaged. Yet, like you RK, the VZ-58 and FAMAS, are no longer being produced and civilian versions are very rare. Good video! Its been a while since you've done any firearms vid's. Ah, one more bullpup. From Croatia, the VHS-2. The good news is its still being produced.

My same thougt aswell about bullpups. I shoot from the left for some reason even though I'm right handed and those spit the brass to your face, not nice :)

Thanks man. I was in special forces - I was in long distance querilla patrol (sirad 2/2004) and our life expectancy during war time was one of the longest in finnish military. It's more inquiry and regognition than just going behind enemylines destroy and try and to escape. Sure that too, but maybe 20-30% max... RK is an heavy weapon to carry around when you are skiing 30-40km a day or walking depending of the season ofcourse, but we had to haul quite a lot of gear aswell. Your backbag (rinkka) alone is about 25kg + food and water. Then you ad a querilla tent for someone and one is carrying stove, radio, extra batteries for radios etc it becomes extremely uncomfortable quick even when I was a young lad and had more strenght than now 😊 Still God bless the RK. My weapon of choise..
