Probably one of the most underrated blues men ever. Right up there with Muddy, John Lee, Robert Johnson, Son House.

I love R.L. and Junior Kimbrough, who sadly have both deceased. This northern MS hill country blues is different, and magically danceable!

This is so ahead of its time it could have been made last week, just amazing,he's got more swag coming out of his picking fingers than most people have coming from their whole bodies. The hookiest riff going.

And on drums, Cedric Burnside. I love this song and the fact that 90% vocal ain't the video. This dude's a legend. Felonious gangster.

The Black Keys and Mississippi All-stars are the direct music disciples of RLB. The tuning in conjunction with that locomotive thumbing is a signature of blues. Granted, he doesn't do that in this song, but this is another example of what a badass and innovator of sound he was. Beast at all times.
