your dusty pavement is my dream dragstrip ! you should see the tarmac I run on...more like le mans rallycross

LOL, well, it's fun to watch the dust 'tail' behind the car as it runs, or the dual lines in the road as it drives away, but SUPER scary when trying to stop or when it starts to slide.

Great to see a new company putting out new chassis designs with a in house engineering. There will be some growing pains and a learning curve. They do seam to be motivated and off to a great start.

Ya, it's definitely a good base platform. Can't wait to install the dual-motor system!

The car looked a lot better in your review compared to others. Your choice of parking lot looked in very smooth and premium condition which definitely helped the cars stability
@Competitionx

It definitely needs a smooth surface to run. It's small and low-ish to the ground, so any pebbles or uneven pavement are going to send this car flying at high speeds!

Tamiya really doesn't have anything comparable to this so, probably. You'd have to have a kit, then all the go-fast electronics, body, wheels and tires. So, actually, that makes this a pretty good deal.

Every review I've seen. They have had trouble with those drive shaft screws. I hope they put some lock tight on those.
@Competitionx

Agreed. Sort of our fault as well - we typically review the screws to make sure there is some locking compound of some sort on them. Didn't do that with this car.

The car looks fire! But you really need a microphone when you're out in the field. It's very difficult to hear what you are saying.

Thanks. And yes, realized it was a little hard to hear when editing. There was also quite a bit of background noise as well from the freeway. Looking into a mic system right now. Thanks for the feedback.

I just ordered the white and blue 787 carbon . Did you order the dual setup or did you order the 299$ one . Just wondering .

We received the $299 carbon edition, then they sent along the dual-motor conversion.

Hello new to your channel a great watch and break down and look over her, I’ve the metal RTR brushless in white and she’s stunning!! I’ve an erratic servo though? It wants to go left and right on its own when I don’t want it to? I was gonna swap it out for a Jx Eco boost there a good servo, do you think it’s worth contacting RLAARLO about this? I doubt the car is under warranty? Or they may send me a new servo? I’ve had mine about 6 weeks, and not had her full throttle yet. I’ll dial her in eventually 🏎️💨💨

Sure, it's always worth a shot to contact the manufacturer about an issue, especially if it's been happening from the very beginning. If not, you can always drop in your own servo. Thankfully we haven't experienced that yet.

@@Competitionx yes but I’ve submitted a video and there saying as I can adjust my steering? Which i can trim it to centre but then moves left to right on its own? I don’t want this to happen when I take her out, they wish me luck!!!?? Looks like I’m gonna put I new servo in I can trust and not buy from them again unless I need parts? As a principal, not impressed!! I’ve 2 of them JX eco boosts I’m gonna drop one in and crack on, good luck with yours. 👍

Knowledge of Hobby cars going 20 MPH plus requires space to do so, thats commonsense especially if the box says 100MPH out of the box.

Well, it doesn't say 100mph out of the box. Says CAPABLE of 100mph with upgrades.

We did give the screws a once over and all were tight, however we didn't check them for threadlocking compound - that was a mistake on our part.

Love my 917 and 787. I only have the on-road offerings from Rlaarlo. Based on those, this company is knocking it out of the park. I'm looking forward to their hinted at 6th scale racer.

Ya, the car really surprised us as well. We knew it would be fast but it's also quite durable! Working on the dual-motor setup at the moment - that should be some added fun!
