Tuesday December 14, 2021. The warm weather continues here on the Front Range. John and I took advantage. Temps were in the 40's and we enjoyed a perfect day.
Of all the places I've seen people ride, I'm most-jealous of yours. You truly live in Heaven on Earth. I really appreciate the time you take to get out and do the 3rd person shots in the technical stuff. Your videos deserve 3 times as many likes and views as any SXS blogging channel, including yours truly.

That really means a lot coming from you. We are lucky that we have great trails and that we found each other.

GPS or More specific info? I'd like to ride that trail when we come to Colorado with our Rmax2. Looks fun!

Where did you get your rear cage and how does it attach to the box?
@johnkechter8164

I made it. I had the hoops bent by a fabricator and then I built the rest. It attaches where the original box bolts are via a couple of 3/16" plates. After it was built I took it to a local powder coating company because it was too big for my oven.

@@johnkechter8164 Great looking rack! This is exactly what I would like to do for our RMAX when we get it. I don't want to carry a spare on a roof rack, and would rather not make up something to go in the rear hitch either, and we need to keep the room in the box. This certainly looks like its standing up to the rough terrain you ride in. I'm assuming you made it recently as its not on your machine in any of the other video's. As we don't have our machine yet, I'm not sure how you have it mounted securely to the box other than what you state above. Any chance you guys could do a video on how you made and installed this rack? Or do you have any pics/drawings/dimensions of what you did that you would be willing to share? All I can do is ask at this point, but would certainly be willing to compensate you for any time spent. Thanks very much..

I would hit up John on the Wolverine Forum about his rack. His user name is JKechter. I doubt he will see this thread on KZitem.

I'll try to get a video put together on how I made it and I'll include some measurements. I'll also include some stills.

@@johnkechter8164 That would be great. I was about to send you a pm on the Wolverine forum at some point today. I just saw that you did start a discussion on this in the forum.
