I don't know if a lot of people on here realize that Canada and the US are allies and share a lot of military resources; NORAD being one they mentioned in this video. Mike Hunt in the comments mentioned that Canada sits back while the US does all these cool things in space... The Canadian Arm revolutionized the International Space station, and Canada is a huge contributor to NASA... Being patriotic towards your Country is an awesome thing, but don't forget countries like Canada play a big part in the support of your way of life and freedom.

For those mocking Canada and us not building jets...may I remind you that in the 1950s we built the AVRO Arrow with Iroquois engines that could go to sub-orbital altitude and Mach 2. It put even current jets to shame and was only cancelled because President Eisenhower was scared shitless of its capability and was jealous that the US didn't build it and convinced our unfortunately gullible Prime Minister that underachieving American Bomarc missiles were the way to go. Take that.
@marktaras6834

@VNSki The F-15SE is 100M$, the F-35A is 120M$. The F-35 has a (comparitably) very user-friendly cockpit, lowering the training time required, and thus, reduce the cost. It also has more internal hardpoints for weapons + bigger cannon. The range on internal fuel is similar, despite being smaller. F-35 has a smaller radar cross-section. Not saying the F-15SE sucks, because that would be my second option. But it seems like something that would need replacing in 15 years as oppose to 30.

I love this show and watched many of them multiple times, but this is something I have to pick at. This is not his first time in a G-suit yet he acts same both times like he doesn't even know the name, I know it's a scripted show but get a little better with the details :) I know Rick does not often mention his experiences from previous shows during filming new ones and most of the shows seem like a first time experience. But that small detail kinda ruins it for ya when you see that flaw. Like watching a movie and even tho you are immersed in fiction, if you saw a car get less damaged during a high speed chase, you would loose that focus. Still very much enjoyed it just my 2c on how it could have been better.

We don't need a single engine fighter to patrol our disputed arctic borders. Although our CF18s have all the upgrades, they are ending their service life.
