Loved those wheelies. I never had a 250f, only 450's and above. What's the torque like on these 250f's?

Great at higher rpms

I know I’m a bit late to answer the question but they’re extremely tame in the low end. Gotta rev then extremely high to get some power out of them if you’re used to a 450

Idk if it's just personal preference but I feel like I wheelie my rmz a lot better when I stand and not sit. HBU?
@dirtslinger7661

I always felt more comfortable sitting down, if I was on smooth ground of course

I can wheelie forever when I stand

Maybe adjusting your rear brake level down will make wheeling whilest sitting easier

It’s because you don’t have to lean the bike as far back if you are standing so you hit balance point sooner

What gears do you wheelie in
@dirtslinger7661

Most of the time I pulled up in 4th and shifted to 5th

Do you use the clutch to pull it up?

Nope

Next work on holding the throttle in one position at a nice low rpm. Then you will graduate to wheelie master.

Harder than you think when the bikes are geared so low all they wanna do is rev like crazy

@@sheldonlarson6708 Dude, I've been riding for 33 years. Your right it is hard but it's the only way to go. I can wheelie my rmz 250 for miles at 4000 rpms. Lifting it in 4th no clutch. I put my knee on the seat, bounce it up then sit back down. Dont try to school a veteran. Cheers

@@sheldonlarson6708 I will add that I do that in first gear at about 2 kph on my son's crf110 to. Keep practicing, you'll figure it out.

@@shornandkenny yeah your right, I’ve got an RMZ450 and I go from about half way through second straight into fourth gear and clutch up and it’s super smooth

You using rear break?
@dirtslinger7661

Adam Floyd Nope. On a four stroke there's enough engine braking to bring the tire back down
