Jesus, the 300 HP Chrysler 300S trapped 97 mph through the 1/4 mile like this 300C did. I know this was the heavier AWD version of the 300C, but I'm still shocked that it ran the same trap speed as the RWD V6 version. Goes to show you how impressive the V6 is combined with an 8 speed automatic.

Such a great car, this 300C. Last of the V8's for sure. Rear Wheel Drive - that's a phrase for the history books, folks. Metrosexuals and Green fans don't bother, you won't get it (much like I don't salivate over the newest Fusion/Camry/Accord/Altima/Malibu/Sonata-Optima/et al toaster ovens/get-my-hair-cut-at-same-place-does-my-nails-type cars). @arashn89 That is not true! Lets say you look at the Ford Taurus SHO which is twin turbo. It is only rated at 365 hp. Its not like the engine isn't capable of higher hp because it is in the Ram 1500 which is at 390hp. The only thing turbo chargers have on naturally aspirated engines is fuel efficiency. Now in 2012 the 300 will have the new 8-speed boasting a 19 city / 31 highway which is best in class. Make sure you compare it to other vehicles its size and in the E segment. Not a camry or civic

I agree, they should've done better job on the interior. While it was step above from the previous gen, Chrysler still used a ton of that cheap plastic that you see in all of their models. I drove a rental for about a week, it was low miles car and interior made all kinds of noises....ride was stiff and it felt cheap...300 is not a bad car, but it has so much room for improvement and Chrysler need to make stand out form rest of their cars.
