Wish my Edge had a V8 lol! The 3.5 does pull nicely, though, and has a nice growl to it!

The beginning model on the lawn is probably the only time I’ve seen MW have a car with a pinstripe (not including retro reviews)

I have a 17 SEL 3.5. I don't think it will live long enough to get antique plates. Too much electronics on cars today

You may be surprised. Microtechnology is progressing very fast. Plus the average life expectancy for a vehicle is 12 to 15 years old and it’s more likely just to increase. Cars prior to the 1990s would typically only last for 6 to 8 years.

My mom had a 2013 Edge Limited AWD, which I actually learned to drive on, and I really don't understand why they don't sell as much as they do. It was a fantastic vehicle, was very practical, plenty of comfort and more than enough power than you'd ever need. AWD was fantastic, never let us down even in very deep snow. We had it semi-used from 2013 and kept it until I believe 140k kms. The main problem was MFT as it was excessively slow, and voice commands... Didn't. The instruments worked but were baffingly poorly designed. Fuel economy, while likely was down to the driver, was pickup truck bad. Aside from these problems it was such a great car and I wish I bought it off of her, though rust was becoming an issue. My mom now has a 2019 Titanium and while it is league's ahead of the 2013, the instruments are still the same which given how poor they are is unacceptable

2006 to 2017 ford edges were peak quality then 2018 to now they fell off bad because of the 4 ceilinder and poor built quality for 55k

@@juwanhowardhll8019 I agree the build quality isn't up to the cost but the 4 banger is perfectly adequate. Sure it sounds like an angry blender but it pulls well and gets fuel economy. Good? No, but that's probably driver related lol

@landyachtfan79 Years ago, maybe, but now according to JDPower Audi and BMW cars are rated about 111-113 problems per 100 cars. Ford avg is 93. Mercedes and Porsche are the only European brands to top them. Mercedes made great improvements in quality again after a bad couple of years and Porsche has always been a reliability leader.

Fords new front ends look so ugly. The only car it looks good on is the new explorer

It’s been 12 years now and the look and styling have aged quite well. I miss Fords big front grill era which seemed like it lasted from 2006 until 2012, my childhood right there😆
