That's great. I can live with that gas mileage. Thats very comparable to may Infiniti G and previous maxima.

ok... what makes no so sense is that the 3.5 v6 used in some of the Nissans do not need premium. So why in the world would the same engine put in an infiniti need premium??

I've owned my new JX35 for about six weeks now, and it is by far the best car i've ever owned. I got every option available: All wheel drive, Tech package, etc. The one thing about this video report is that they did not talk at all about the hi-tech features this car has, with the radar and sonar and the Lane Departure Prevention, Crash Prevention, and other things. The surround-view camera is AWESOME and none of the competitors have this. To me, this is almost the main selling point!

this car definitely need the 330HP 3.7L V6, 265HP is too small for this suv

The Infiniti JX35 and 2014 renamed QX60 has a 3.5 litre 265 horsepower V6. Why not use the more powerful 3.7 litre V6 with 328 horsepower like the ones used in the EX37/QX50, FX37/QX70 or the G37, new Q50, M37/Q70. This would definitely improve off the line and overall performance given the size and weight of the JX/QX60. Maybe by 2015 Infiniti/Nissan will then use the 3.7 litre in the QX60; I certainly hope so...

The tail lights look exactly like the Hyundai Sonata, except that the brake lights are LED. Infiniti should not have a CVT and a transverse engine design, just like the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, which is also hideous. A seven speed longitudinal design with a 3.7 Liter V6 would be more appropriate, and a hybrid powertrain, just like the M35h, but in AWD, would also compete with the Highlander Hybrid.

I have a 2001 pathfinder and I find it funny after using the vq40 since 05, after 12 years they come back to the vq35. If you didn't know the 2013 pathfinder is going to be the jx with a Nissan badge. They should have used the vq37 instead.

Because extra torque comes in handy when moving alot of weight. Especially making that extra torque available at a lower rpm increasing driveability on a heavier car like this.

Why would Infiniti give the G more hp than the JX? The JX needs it more than the G does. At least make them the same ratings. That extra hp comes in handy on the highway.

Whoops, there was a typo in my response. What I meant to say is that you do not have to acknowledge the "legal disclaimer" screen every time you start the car. On my previous car, every time I started the car, I would have to push the "Agree" button in order to get the GPS screen to come on. Not with the JX--it just comes right on, and that's because certain functions are disabled while the vehicle is in motion.

I am 99% sure that yes, you can but you must speak it instead of typing it in. The idea is to keep your eyes on the road and not get distracted. The really great thing about certain functions not working while in motion and there is no "legal disclaimer" screen every time you turn the car on, which is just great! I will try the GPS tomorrow to be certain, and I'll report back here. It is such a great car!

To begin with the European model of the FX is fairly new to that market launching in 2009 as a brand. While Infiniti decided to pursue the FX37 nameplate with a revised 3.7 liter V6 in the Euro Market, here in the US the FX had already been introduced as the FX35 because Infiniti's models were already known to have concieved the 3.5 liter V6, same with the new G sedan which debuted in 2007 as a G35 and was later prompted a G37. For 2013 the FX & EX are now called the FX37 & EX37 in the US.

Just drove 440 miles on one tank with 5 people and stuff included on one tank of gas! Smooth riding and as fast as an X5 3.0, without giving up the third row. Well, the X5 offers it, but takes out the padding of the second seat to have it fit (ouch!).

Thanks for your comment, Andy. I am seriously considering the JX, but I was wondering about something: Can you input an address in the navigation when the vehicle is in motion? My friend's Infinity would not allow it, which is quite annoying. The car seems fantastic with these amazing features. Best of luck!
