that is a beautiful piece of work. would be so proud to have designed it and see it finally finished, and it's just so many little things and brilliant. runner wheels, lifters, move-able turn-tables. amazing.

BPW is very popular in Australia for Trailer axles (Regarded as one of the best). Western Star's are imported, Kenworth are built locally in Melbourne. We have a good variety of European trucks as well.

I wouldn't say the USA is behind the world in technology. They make the best and most reliable trucks and engines. Kenworth over here is #1 seller in class 8 and outsells Volvo 2:1, the next competitor. But in Australia we're a long way in front when it comes to trailer technology.......as you can see!

I'd go along with that. BPW are the best, I've got a Barker trailer with York axles and a Southern Cross with BPW and the BPWs never give any trouble.

Advantages: Lower Tyre Wear, better fuel economy, better manoeuvrability when empty, extra weight on drive when empty for better traction getting back into the bush, treated as a general access vehicle when empty so is not affected by road train restrictions of daylight operation and scholl bus time restrictions that apply in Western Australia.

Is BPW a common brand of trailer axle in Australia ? You use American trucks, but European axles: Most American trailers have north american axles, the Europeans dont sell in America and Americans dont sell in Europe, it seems.
