The most important gear in Amon Amarth shows: - Drinking horns! skål! - Mjolnir to smash Jormungandr's face in. - Neck brace for after the show. - Beard oil (at least 2 inches facial growth promotion per hour of Amon Amarth) Amon Amarth's catalog is this level of intensity and aggression all the way through. No nonsense Swedish melodic death metal talking about Vikings, raids, fighting, Norse gods and sheer brutality. This is the soundtrack of the Viking training montage. If you ain't raiding the coastline of Western Europe after 2 albums of I don't know what to tell ya.

If you like Amon Amarth, then you should check out TÝR. They're a viking metal band from the Faroe Islands. Been around for over 20 years and have 8 full studio albums. Earlier this year they filmed a full concert with the Faroe Island Symphony Orchestra. Absolutely killer music. Edit: heads up, some songs are in English, while others are in Faroese.

So, let's do some Amon Amarth now ! Fucking good choice ! Though I'd argue "Twilight of the Thunder God", "Deceiver of the Gods", "Embrace of the Endless Ocean", "Under the Northern Star" (a death metal ballad this one), "Cry of the Black Birds", "Guardians of Asgaard" or "Gods of War Arise" would have been even more epic. And since we're talking Vikings, can I just say (yeah, I know, not the first time I'm gonna type these words and definitely not the last one either), I'd fucking love for you to check Skalmold (live with the orchestra). Either Kvadning or Hel... these two songs (and that orchestra !) will blow your mind !

They have 3 singers, 2 that typically trade or duet, and a third that is mostly spoken song, and they have some seriously catchy songs. For the channel, I'd recommend either One or Njord.
