ROADS IN AFGHANISTAN
In this video, we will share with you what we experienced while traveling between cities in Afghanistan.
We titled our video as roads in Afghanistan. Because roads and travel in Afghanistan are very interesting. You will see this when you watch our video.
The geography of Afghanistan is a difficult geography to make a road. Hindukush Mountains on one side and Pamir Mountains, extension of Himayala Mountains in the north. Roads pass through these mountains, whose height reaches 4 thousand meters.
Roads in other parts of Afghanistan are constantly changing or closing due to climatic conditions. Landslides and landslides that occur after every rain are constantly closing the roads here. While traveling in Afghanistan, we often see villages destroyed by landslides like this village. Again, we often come across roads that have been closed as a result of landslides.
Another thing we come across most often on the roads, goats sheep, in short animals, they are everywhere. Another thing we constantly see on the roads is the tank wreckage from the Afghan Soviet Russia war. Although some of them are collected and sold for scrap, some are still on the side of the roads. Again, the bodies of those who were martyred in this war were left where they died and these colorful flags were planted on their heads. We come across these flags very often during our journey.
We cannot be sure whether the traffic flows from the right or the left in Afghanistan. They usually have Toyota vehicles. We see both right-hand and left-hand drive vehicles in traffic. Most do not have license plates.
Despite those bad roads, drivers drive vehicles fast. Roads are usually empty after dark. This is because of security.
After this introduction, let's watch together what we saw and experienced on the roads during our trip to Afghanistan.
