I have just finished the "Roaming in Paris" kit. This was my first ever miniature project so I found your videos a great help, whenever i was not sure what to do I would look to see how you did it. I chose this kit because I love Paris and visited many times so was able to personalize the kit - for example I changed the name of the hotel to Hotel Darcet, changed the patisserie to a Laduree and other things that remind me of my trips to Paris. A big "Thank You" for your help

I got the whole set of the 3 tin box miniature kits ...the castle, paris street ,and the carnival circus.....so glad i just found your tutorial .......but there is a few things i do before i start the kit ... i do an inventory count and inspection of kit Then test the lights and battery box Then i go to photocopy store and make color copies of all the cutout sheets ..because in human and will make mistakes in gluing and cutting out those fiddly tiny bitty pieces ....and once in a while may lose a tiny paper piece ....so its good to have a extra copy ....those copies saved me when i made an error.. I like to do put together the furniture ,etc first... like the bed ,table chairs, etc .then start to work on the rest of kit I also purchased a good pair of embroidery scissors with a curved blade ...because they are way better for cutting out those bitty paper pieces. Plus iput my glue in a syringe .... number 20 needle .....or i use those plastic dropper with the long tail and trim it to whatever length ...it is way more accurate for applying glue into those tiny places ...plus control the amount of glue

Since i got these set of 3 kits ...i make sure to paint the stand in a complimentary color thats on the outside of the tin ......plus i purchased a soldering iron ...cause i got tired of using that white adhesive sticky paper for attaching and covering the LED wire connections ...so now i just solder the wires together..... plus i dont completely glue on the ...the little .title sign .....because iwant to be able to change the batteries if they get weak....i made the castle kit ...and it was alot of work.... turned out to be lovely ...but then ...i gave it away as a gift and the person loved it .....,so i went out and purchased another castle kit again ...lol.....

OMG, I have been thinking of getting one or more of these! Now that I see a new series by you, I might just jump in! I was just think of you and missing your vids yesterday! Are the instructions OK? Do you think it would be easier to connect all the wires before gluing in? Not sure my says age fingers would work with this. Lol

Yes, it would definitely be easier to connect the wires before gluing in the battery pack. That being said, it wasn't too hard to do it after either. The instructions were OK actually and there are lots of pictures, which is always nice. Everything is just SO TINY! Have multiple tweezers, cuz you'll need them!

Hi! Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner. I hope you figured out the batteries issue. Here we call them button batteries but I'm finding that different versions of the kits work differently so do with that what you will. Good luck!
