This is my absolute favorite dish to eat with sticky rice. Whether it’s made with long purple eggplant or Thai eggplant. Both variations delicious !

I saw a vid where the title said something like authenticity isn't everything. True that when my own bubble only has but so much access to wever ingredients. Gotta improvise, here. I've been laaping everything too. but it's way bigger chunks bc "ain't nobody got time for all of that " lol at my grounded rice too ... Some of it's just grains that r just split in 2 & it's like wever, I tried. When I was younger, I didn't think I'd end up having so much more of a preference for my own... Food but I do. It's really just the same tastes through our time, really. Bc outside all this, I really just fav plain basic spaghetti. Maybe sloppy joes every now & then. But I really got my infant loving rice. So much, she likes to wear it too. It's also always a plus enjoying my own while saving $. Also thx for the recipe

I've always thought of plating like that and serving at my work. I think it matches korean ssam energy a lot too if you wrap it all in leafy greens.

Hi there! How do you clean your cheese cloth that you use to steam the rice? I always have rice pieces stuck on there and hard to wash off as it gets sticky to it.
@ThunThunChannel
Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. I soak the cheesecloth in a bowl of water for a few hours. By then the grains of rice soften and are easy to either shake off or scrub off. Thank you.

I love tomatillo but Thai eggplant is very different. You might be able to use tomatillo to make Jaew Mak Len (the tomato dip version) which I also have a video on how to make on my channel. Thank you for watching!

This is how it is called in the US and how many people identify this eggplant here. Just like Vietnamese coriander, Italian basil… etc.
