Today’s roast was a 250 gram batch of our 10 Speed blend on the Behmor 2000 AB Plus. Other than using P5 manual mode (hottest setting), I kept things nice and simple. No warm up, heat changes, or cooling outside the roast chamber. My times were 13 minutes 40 seconds to 1st Crack, and I entered the cooling cycle after 2 minutes of development. The exterior color looks like City+ but the weight loss was 16%. I’m not surprised given the time it took to get to 1st Crack. This roast was intended for espresso, and I can’t wait to taste it in a few days! What’s the last coffee you roasted?
