These boards are more than just wood, metal and plastic. They are seriously a part of who we are. Past present and future. Love your content and sharing how you feel, brother!

Thanks brother! I couldn't agree more. I have so many good memories that revolve around skateboarding. My buddy Alan was a part of that and i will always draw stoke from those experiences.

This video just inspired me to buy the same deck on eBay. I don’t need anymore decks… but then again, I DO!. Sick set up bro. Congrats!

Funny - I've been staring at an old photo of myself from 1987ish trying to figure out what board I was riding in the photo. It's an old Santa Cruz Pocket Pistols Spidey 2. Pretty similar deck, trucks and wheels set up as the Roskopp in this video. Nice memories....

I love seeing classic skateboards in spots around town. There was a tattoo parlor close to my place that had an original Ron Allen no scratch hanging on their wall. Black stain with the blue outline. It was mint!! I would have loved to had that one.

@@TheFabledWolf I actually traded some extra overdrive pedals I wasn't using anymore for an OG Gonz Reissue at that same shop 😃

You have some cool videos! I was a Powell Peralta and Santa Cruz fan growing up...I am in my 40's now and re started skating last year. I have several of each companies boards for display only. I am currently riding a JM Duran SlideWinder from Powell, as I like to just to bomb hills anymore. I am not into this gen of skating with the small wheels and stuff as I like to go fast. I have some Powell/Peralta Soft Slide Series 66mm 75A. Great for skating fast and on various terrain, especially asphalt. Keep up the videos coming and stay safe skating....get yourself some knee guards at the very least.

Thank you , EDO-J. I am an avid hill bomber as well. I ride the Powell Snakes 75a on both of my long boards. They are set up as more freeride and I find the Snakes to be outstanding and I haven't found anything that really compares. I do wear scabs and I have knee pads but I find them a bit restictive at times. But I'll wear them if im working on something new. Is that SlideWinder you have the "Flight" Version? Do you do any content creating? Love to see a video on it.

That build came out crazy awesome. The yellow rails make it with the powder blue look. I'm not a huge fan of those colors but, dude!!! That rocks! In honor of your childhood/neighbor friend who passed He'd be stoked to see that board for sure. 🍻🤙

Me too, Sam. This color way is great too. I didn’t think I was going to like the pink but the matte finish really works wonderfully for me. Did you happen to get this one, Sam?

Hi bro.. Do you think if I dont go wrong with a Tom knox 10 x 31 but with 149 indys?? I cant find 159s in my country.. Thank you so much bro.. Greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨🛹🔥🤙

I think the 49s would work just fine. You can get wheels that have an offset profile to make up any difference.

man that's a gnarly tail. i got neon green 54.5mm 78a slimeballs on a vision/indy 159 setup i haven't ridden yet; i had enough extra gear to put together a new complete, but almost don't want to use the trucks because i've never completely worn down a set before, so i liked the idea of just completely destroying the ones i have on my other setup this summer and having the backup pair waiting as a reward. might actually be an excuse to get 169s finally for larger shaped decks and keep all my 159s on popsicle setups. or maybe those stage 4s.

There is definitely something to be said about grinding the hangers down to the axels. It's a rather satisfying feeling to know you have stretched the life span of the truck to the limit. Skate and Destroy! The feeling of a fresh set of trucks with cushy new bushings is also far out from a completely different direction. Both are really good. Im looking forward to setting up that Slasher with those stage 4s. If you ride those Slime Balls soon you'll have to let me know what you think about them. I am loving my Slime Ball-Goobers. They seem to roll forever with very little effort. Plus the 97a hardness grips where it needs to and they will slide when I want them to. Im just hoping they hold their shape and last this whole summer.
