My old coworker was a hugeeeee rob thomas fan. Everytime the song 3am started, you’d hear that intro guitar and he’d look at me and say “my boy” regardless of the song, he made it clear that it was his song. My coworker passed away and I come to these songs a lot to hear and think about him. Rest In Peace chuck, I’ll always miss closing the store with you

Rob Thomas is a hero. His wife became very chronically ill. He stayed by her every hour. Never let up, they say. That was a long time ago, but it says a lot about his character given he's in the demanding music biz. He loves her very much.

For me, when I listen to "Someday," I immediately connect with the hopeful and optimistic message of the song. It's like Rob is speaking directly to me, encouraging me to persevere and hold onto my dreams, no matter the challenges I face. The lyrics carry a sense of determination and resilience. It's as if Rob is reminding me that even though life can be tough and unpredictable, there is always a glimmer of hope on the horizon. He acknowledges the struggles we encounter along the way, but he urges me not to give up and to keep pushing forward towards my goals. Later in the song, I can feel a surge of motivation building within me. Rob's voice is filled with conviction and belief in the possibility of brighter days ahead. It's like he's sharing his own experiences of overcoming obstacles and urging me to have faith in myself and my abilities. The chorus resonates deeply with me, serving as a mantra of sorts. It's a reminder that someday, my dreams will become a reality if I stay committed and keep working towards them. The lyrics inspire me to envision a better future and to hold onto that vision, even when times are tough. Throughout the song, there is a sense of camaraderie and understanding. It's as if Rob is cheering me on, reminding me that I'm not alone in my struggles. He acknowledges the shared experiences of setbacks and challenges, but he encourages me to keep moving forward and to believe that better days are within reach. To me, "Someday" is a song that uplifts and motivates. It reminds me to stay focused on my dreams, to never lose hope, and to persevere in the face of adversity. It's a musical pep talk from a friend who understands the ups and downs of life and wants nothing more than to see me succeed. Anytime I'm down or doubtful about what I'm doing, this is a song I'll put on 😊

I am a huge believer in the fact that one song can have different meanings depending on how the person perceives it and the connection they have with it. I was lucky enough to be an extra in this, back in August 2009 in NYC. I am one of the parade marchers with a sign. I have been an extra on a lot of film and TV sets over the last 12 years but this is easily the set where everyone was nice and actually lived the message we sang. Rob Thomas is a great guy as well as talented. How happy we are really shows through.

Thanks for the likes and the positive comments. It feels good to know that others are listening and and actually hearing this song during these challenging times and feel the same. Even though the song and the video, which is awesome as well, isn't new, it is so relevant today . And even though alot more could now be added to the video I think it serves as a great virtual reminder in recognition of the importance in need of positive change that starts with each person supporting each other

I'm so thankful that there's ppl like you that feels this way because I've posted other song's and no one replies. Our world is falling apart and it's like so many other's don't care. I know Rob and many other's in the music industry would love to be on stage you need to know I'm in Ga. where they started protesting & still are I wasn't raised to judge ppl color, sexual preference I heard from a gay bar in Atlanta back in 70s "It's not who you love or how you love it's that you" my uncle is gay I'm Cherokee Indian more on both sides of my family I'm straight female and I never taught my kids to be that way. My problem with this situation is it's another set back from Covid-19 it's evil. Not going outside it's getting worst I know bcoz my family works in hospitals here. Thanks for reply means alot. Oh I do believe in equal rights..

This song helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. When I was all alone after my daughters mother and I were separating. I was in the middle of getting my degree. I felt the weight of the world on me every single day. I got through it and I have an amazing relationshio with my baby girl who i have custody of. I moved on and have a career. Life is never as bad as it seems. I know thats cliche but you know what, life is beautiful and I am happy to have one.

Anyone watching this in 2020 I swear I've been sharing this song hoping someone is feeling better and getting through this tough year together. Remember we don't have to do this alone. 2020 is not the captain of our ship we build our own ships to sail through the bull. God bless everyone stay healthy stay strong and let this song carry you to a more positive light.

Lyrics You can go You can start all over again You can try to find a way to make another day go by You can hide Hold all your feelings inside You can try to carry on when all you want to do is cry And maybe someday We'll figure all this out Try to put an end to all our doubt Try to find a way to make things better now, and Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud We'll be better off somehow Someday Now wait And try to find another mistake If you throw it all away then maybe you can change your mind You can run, oh And when everything is over and done You can shine a little light on everything around you Man it's good to be someone And maybe someday We'll figure all this out Try to put an end to all our doubt Try to find a way to make things better now, and Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud We'll be better off somehow Someday And I don't want to wait I just want to know I just want to hear you tell me, so Give it to me straight Tell it to me slow 'Cause maybe someday We'll figure all this out We'll put an end to all our doubt Try to find a way to just feel better now, and Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud We'll be better off somehow Someday 'Cause sometimes we don't really notice Just how good it can get So maybe we should start all over Start all over again 'Cause sometimes we don't really notice Just how good it can get So maybe we should start all over Start all over again

"...And when everything is over and done You can shine a little light on everything around you Man it's good to be someone..." Rob writes the most amazing lyrics. This is what music should be. This is what music should say. No words to express my appreciate for this man. A true artist. All of these little Biebers and Kanye's should take note -- this is how it's done.
