I have the same one. It flies very nice and is good at thermaling. I would not say its very aerobatic. The wiper of one flap hung up on the trailing edge of the wing. It did a little damage and the flap would not fully retract in flight - I was wonding why I needed trim. Mine weighs more than the stated value, about 3,500-3,800 grams. It hand launches good. Plenty of climb power but its not a mid-liner. I'm totally looking forward to wringing it out at Los Banos CA this year.

Hello, Thank you for your video which allowed me to purchase an Evoa 3.0 PNP delivered complete with motor, servos and wiring, all installed and connected. I added the Robbe RoControl 6-60 controller recommended as close as possible to the motor and the Multiplex receiver glued just after. By placing the 4S 3700mAh battery also recommended, the Evoa in flight order weighs 3,300g to which I must add 175g at the front so that it is centered at 80mm from the leading edge. Which makes a total of 3300 + 175 = 3475g instead of 2890g announced by Robbe, or 585g more!!! Is this normal? Thank you in advance for your answers Best regards Didier

I too had to add weight to get her to balance within the recommended range, and my set-up is very close to yours. I have flown my ship and although it "feels" heavy she fly's great and really floats, as matter of fact I had several missed approaches to landing on the first flight as I could not get her to slow down, she would just float on by....I will be adding some crow to the mix for the next flights, that should kill the lift and get her down quickly!

@@dbottita Thanks for your feedback. For information, I am French, the translations are done by Google. I'm not sure if the Robbe X36 800 engine delivered in the PNP version is powerful enough. The neutrals of the servos installed in the PNP version have not been mechanically adjusted well and I cannot retouch them because the servo covers are stuck. I'll have to compensate with the radio. The right half-wing is heavier than the left half-wing. I will definitely order a 4S 5000mAh battery to center the Evoa. Sincerely Didier

@@didierdesvignes9266 My servo centering is not correct either and I have made corrections via the radio, I do plan to correct them mechanically at some point.
