Yeah, the Harley Quinn & Batman movie Harley wasn't terrible but they should've got Hynden. Don't even get me started on the terrible choice for Harley in the new animated series. What were they thinking? Though, I don't think Hynden would've said all the crazy outlandish things in that series either lol that probably made it harder to find a voice actress. Hynden should take over for Harley, I think Tara's hung up the cape I believe, but fun fact: Hynden is Starfire in Teen Titans, Tara is Raven. I think it's awesome they got her in Tara's role, it still amazes me she knocks it out of the park in her own way, like Arleen and Tara did.

@@ThatJohnnyGuyyy Kaley Cuoco's an excellent Harley. I was sceptical at first but she won me over within the first few episodes. Putting aside the swearing, she brings a lot of heart to the character and now I barely notice that she doesn't mimic Arleen Sorkin's distinctive voice. In fact, the finale of Season 1 implied that the childish voice we're used to hearing from Harley was an act she put on for Joker, at least in that universe. He asks her to sing him happy birthday "for old times sake" and Harley responds by clearing her throat and saying "To my puddin'" in a way that sounds very similar to Arleen. Kaley's able to mimic her voice but unlike Tara Strong, she's not willing to ruin her vocal cords by doing it all the time and thank god for that, because while Arleen could make anything sound cute, Tara's screeching becomes grating at times. With all that said, I still think Hynden Walch is the second greatest Harley. She sounds similar to Arleen but isn't just copying her and brings new aspects such as "Yahtzee". Ever noticed that she's the only onscreen Harley who has ever said that? Assault on Arkham in particular proved that Hynden's better than Tara Strong but she just doesn't get enough opportunities to play Harley.

@@nickpalmer1802 He does, that's the problem. He lets them live, they just kill even more. Joker's entire reason for living is to kill others to get Batman to kill him and break his one rule. If anything, Batman's just as crazy as the criminals he puts away. It's not like ALL his enemies should die, Mr. Freeze is basically the only person worth actually saving because all he does is for the sake of his dying wife. Two-Face is sick, and definitely needs to be in Arkham Asylum to get the help he needs to recover from what happened, that is if it can go any different from the Dark Knight Returns Penguin should be in a maximum security prison at least for arms smuggling, not something worth the death penalty over. But Joker and Zsazz absolutely must die, as they can't be contained in Arkham, and the law won't allow them to be put in prison due to them being insane, so the only logical option to save others from them is to just kill them and end their reign of terror on Gotham.

Technically, it's break a leg. Also, you were friends with Catwoman once. You can be Batman's friend too.

The comic did it better, specially the Jim Gordon part, because after all he's the one that could understand better Batman at that moment. In the comics the Joker killed Jim's wife and paralyzed his daughter Barbara, so he confronting Batman and trying to stop him was kinda a big deal. The movie took away all that past history from Batman and Jim in form of blashbacks that showed you everything the Joker had done to them at the moment because, you know, continuity. Wich took a lot of weight from that scene, sadly.

Interesting that Joker would gladly take this kinda punishment from Batman and let him break his code if he actually did kill Thomas.

Even though I love Joker, FOR HELL'S SAKE KILL HIM BATMAN!!! Ok this scene was done better in the comic but it wasn't that bad. Definitely pissed me off when Harley didn't show up to save Joker and getting knocked out by Batman just in the comic.

4:13 this part of the scene was sad because not only he lost his best friend he was going to kill joker which nearly destroyed. I think that’s what makes this scene amazing too.

This was kind of lacking compared to the original Batman: Hush comic. In this continuity, Barbara is still Batgirl and never got crippled by the Joker, and Jason Todd likely doesn’t exist here, so Joker never murdered him to piss off Batman. Those losses in the comics compiled with Joker apparently “killing” Thomas Elliot were what understandably drove Batman over the edge and made him decide he was going to kill Joker this time and finally end his madness. When Batman snapped in this scene, it was missing those key moments, which makes it lose its original weight and significance. As a result, it makes Batman’s reaction feel a bit forced here.

If Jason was around to see this, he'd either be beyond angry that it was only Tommy's "death" that spurred Bats to do it, or he'd be thinking "fucking finally"
