This is human nature. I read someone saying New Yorkers are fake, and that's just ridiculous. We care about our sports, but why would we heckle the actual person Robinson Cano? If he's on the field, that's the game. Game is different than real life, we boo Robinson Cano the baseball player, not Robinson Cano the person.

It's easy to call someone a sellout when your not the one being offered a 240 million contract. Get real people, you know you would take it. Theirs nothing wrong with that either. It's a career, gotta make that money before the injuries take you out of the game.
@MegaHarryballzack
10 жыл бұрын
The fact is how much money is enough money? I would be fine with 10 million dollars the rest of my life. The Yankees offered Cano what he was worth, and that was a 10 year, 190 million dollar contract. Seattle who is 100x more desperate than NY spiked the price up 50 million. So you're right, it was Canos choice.. stay in NY for 50 mil less, which really means nothing when you're talking those 2 big numbers, and win world series titles and possibly become the next Yankee icon like Derek Jeter....or take the extra 50 mil and go play for a team that will never win a world series... At first i was mad he took Seattles contract but now im kinda glad he did because we wouldnt have Ellsbury or Tanaka right now, and man idk if you've seen Tanaka pitch yet...but that dude is LIGHTS. OUT.
@Silverstack3r
10 жыл бұрын
How much money is enough money? That's not a decision anyone gets to make for anyone else. Trying to decide how much money another person needs or deserves is a very slippery slope. Of course no one needs hundreds of millions of dollars to survive but that's not what we are talking about. He is getting paid what he is worth, period. If he wasn't worth that much, they wouldn't have offered. Everyone wants to tell everyone else how to live, how much of this and that they need. I say it's none of our damn business. His life and career, his choices. Period

As a Yankee fan I don't understand why we would boo Cano. He helped us win a world series in 2009 and was fantastic in his Yankee career. Plus it's not he went to a team in our division. I'll be at the game tonight and personally I'll applaud when he comes to the plate.

To Nintendo: There you go: It's the silly fans who forgot the blood, sweat, and tears he put down for his team. Players should do a positive video explaining the love they had for their previous teams and explaining why they departed, to provide a place for a soft landing for the fans' empty souls.

Guys... you can tell that it's not the real Robinson Cano. It was a robot being controlled by the person behind the camera.

Alonso De La Cruz knowing how much thunder fans truly hate KD right now, I'd say it might not go as planned. Not a Thunder fan, but KD wouldn't agree it. Dude too soft
