FPV maiden of the HobbyKing B17 "Ye Olde Pub".
To skip the intro tour of the aircraft, go to 1 minute for the flying sequences.
Set-up for those interested:
Pilot cam is a Mobius 1 on a lens extension cable. Navcam and turretcam are 808 #16 v3s - also on lens extensions. Waist cam is another 808 #16 v3 on a long lens extension, but does not transmit inflight - just records a fixed aspect video. The 3 transmitting cams can be switched by the pilot inflight using a HobbyKing 3 way video switch.
The rotating turret was designed for 3d printing by Tom Hunt, and printed for me by Tom Connors. I also made one of Tom Hunt's fully functioning ball turrets with live-feed camera. It was excellent - better than the top turret, but I had to abandon it to stay below the UK's critical weight limit of 3.5kg, exceeding which would have meant I had to lose head-tracking to allow a buddy pilot to use the trainer port.
I did a video on wiring up the cameras and camera switch, which you can even use on a plane that you fly normally (LOS). Here is a link for those interested.
