Just great! Such a fun song to learn and play. Montrose struck gold with this one. Nice job.

Great job my friend. Your the first and only person who has played the beginning of this song the way Ronnie plays it. Everyone else thinks he does a pick scrape. Very nicely done. I applaud you.. How did you figure that out. I always thought it was a studio affect. But no, You did it perfect..😁😁. Could you show me exactly how you do it. Tried watching closely. Even 50% slowed down. Looks like your grabbing the d string and sliding up. But I also here something else in it.. would love to know how you do this amazing trick.

How's it going David? Good cover. You play so calm and straight faced. That's a good thing. I don't feel I'm good enough to make videos but my problem is I get bored with a song before I get real good at it. Keep rocking!

David can I ask what year you were born? Me 1958 , born and raised in Detroit. (now in the burb's) It's just cool to me that we were all digging the same stuff 3000 miles apart. What beginning cord is Ronnie playing in All I need?
@oldguyhisguitar1577
2 жыл бұрын
I was born and raised in Redding California. 1961. But live in Montana now. The beginning chords for all i need. You start with A. Leaving E string open. Then move the same A up 2 frets. Still leaving E string open. And the picking starts with A then B G D, E B G D. And the same when you move that 2 frets up. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need..

@@oldguyhisguitar1577 Thank you for sending me the chords to All I Need, a song i've had difficulty figuring out. I 've been so busy I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm assuming that it's played arpeggio style? So kind of you to do that for me. So fun watching you play these classic guitar songs, you really have them dialed in . Quick question obviously you have lead as well as rhythm skills I've noticed that sometimes you play lead sometimes you don't, any particular reason? Thanks again David.

I've always been a rhythm guitar player. I can do some solo's. The easier ones.. Lol.. But seemed to have trouble moving my fingers to alot of them.. But i try and do my best.. Speed of a solo, and timing is what i struggle with alot. But there is solo's that i feel more comfortable doing. And if Im able to do them, then i try to.. But like i said. I've always been actually a rhythm guitarist.. If you need anymore help with the song "All I Need" Just let me know.. Thanks for your support.🎸🎸
