First time I've appreciated the music in a climbing video. It wasn't glaringly loud or distracting. Nice climb!

My first 5.9 lead, back in 1986. I still remember those first moves. Great video. Nice music choice.

Great video, and a great lead. The pitch looks pretty sustained at the grade. And I loved the music!

The whole point of me watching this was to see trad placements, but you cut them all out...

Ok, always thanks for posting a vid....BUT....if I see one more vid of a guy yanking on a cam to "test" it I'm gonna go insane. If you keep doing that one will pop, hit you in the face and you're gonna fall off and deck (ouch). **look** at the placement and **know** it is good. Clip it and go. You cannot test a cam with a little tug and declare it gtg for a leader fall. You have to **know** by looking at the placement it will hold. If you wanna test cams get out your aiders and bounce on them as hard as you can. That is many times the force of your little tugs. Stay safe, climb on.

I agree with all you said here. But you probably should not watch anymore climbing videos to preserve your sanity. :)

john Tuttle I'm a sport guy, never got into trad...but I've always thought to myself "what if it pops out when you pull" lol I know in sport if I reach to far to clip my draw into a bolt, I come off balance especially on harder routes where your clip spot is shotty

Totally disagree, you can tell a lot about the placement by how the cam moves in the initial tug. I've climbed cracks for years and see no downside by pulling a cam around a little after placing - all it can do is tell you more about how the cam reacts to the rock in that spot.
