For the e61 brew head, u gotta flush it out until the gurgling or bubbling noise goes off. On my Rocket Boxer 2grp, it's about 12-15 seconds - especially when unused for too long.

owned an appartmento for about 4 years and pulled 6800 shots ( have rocket grinder with counter). I had to replace the on/off switch around 5500 cost about 10 bucks and i ended up with a few extra screws lol. take pictures if u dissemble. Also my steam wand seal is starting to leak nothing crazy but not 100% either. I also added a thermal sleeve around the boiler when i had it opened up. Its been a great experience would buy again.

Hey, thanks for the review! A quick question, how can the pressure be adjusted? What is the initial pressure that the machine has?

Thanks for watching! It’s difficult to explain and we no longer have a Rocket on hand but there’s some very good videos on KZitem that will walk you through the adjustment. The machine will typically come between 10-14 bars of pressure. Ideally you want somewhere around 9 or 10 depending on your grind. Hope you’re able to find the sweet spot!

How long does it take for the machine to warm up?

The Rocket Appartemento has no PID. That's a huge let down. Starting up times are very long. Ultra industrial looks. Changing the brew pressure is very labourious.

I would personally Buy a Lelit Elizabeth or a Silvia Pro as they are both dual boilers with PID control and same price point. Or in the Lelit Elizabeth's case alot cheaper than the Rocket Appartamento machine. Just food for thought because I know you're going to want to upgrade to a dual boiler machine if you're serious about the best tasting espresso.

I think its purely an aesthetic choice here. That Silvia looks like it belongs in a Dennys.

I just don't dig the looks of the Silvia. My apartmento is a compliment beast

I have one since 2 weeks. Would never buy again. Dual boiler with PID is the way to go. Temp way to high and inconsistent, pressure must be resuced to 9.5 bar group head pressure, pump is super loud, no information about water level is super shit, prepared the puck and after 1 second the led blinks: super job, No isolated boiler with overheating and lots of cold flushing,... So: reducing pressure and adding group head temperature sensor is a must do to this machine. The plastic reeling on top is the biggest joke

Hi, I wonder if you had the issue of it extracting the liquid too quick? I used the double portafilter and the basket that came with it but it is too large for 18g. I am using a Eureka perfectto but the extraction time is just too short no matter how fine I grind it. Thanks

Did you find a solution yet? Our recommendation would be a higher dose, more pressure on the tamp, and possibly even looking into readjusting or replacing the burrs on your Eureka. Thanks for the question!

Don’t buy! Their service support is nonexistent…..way too much money for no support when something goes wrong! Expensive mistake and won’t make again! 🤬
