They didn't have the talent like Howard, Harden, Parsons, T.Jones, and Lin, but they had every player that year who showed heart.

lol im a rockets fan but to say they didnt have talent would be a lie. tmac, yao, scola, landry, swift and i think they also had rafer alston. but yao went down with an injury on game 13 or something tho but we had mutombo

Definitely to me the best Houston team ever after the Dream's era. Even when its not star-studded, nearly everyone on the bench contributed.
@SOAD232

Rafer alston really stepped up the last game, 22 vs Lakers. He made 8 three-pointers. The 22 game winning-streak was a big team effort, between great players; T-mac, Yao ming, Battier, Scola, Alston and their bench

Nice video. The Rox were flat ballin during that streak. McGrady was outstanding, passing the ball, running the break and doing whatever to win.

There is a lot of memorable moments of rockets franchise history. But theres four that keeps in my mind and it will be forever . The two championships. The 13 points in 33 seconds. When yao came to rockets. First game between yao and shaq. This one is not so memorable but ....( rockets vs lakers ) playoffs without yao.macgrady all the way to game 7. PROUD TO BE A ROCKETS FAN !! ;)

I wouldn't say eating up. Do you even watch the Celtics? You don't, so stop assuming that the Celtics are weak. The Heat want to avoid Boston because of what they're capable of. I guess you want Rondo to stop playing basketball because you can't take how incredible a PG he is. You're probably a Heat fan.

I'm here because they think a 22-game winning streak of a team full of superstars is impressive. It's not. Try having a 22-game winning stream wherein your starting center (their centerpiece at that) is out halfway into the streak, and your primary scorer also missed a few games, and the streak kept going with a team of role players. Now that's impressive!

Houston pride baby!! The Rockets need to take it this year. its too bad we traded rafer, but we have ron artest, yao is there, and kyle lowry and von wafer are emerging. Too bad Tmac is out for the season and Carl Landry got shot in the leg, we're in 3rd... we just gotta keep it goin so we can get to the finals and do our thing... GO ROCKETS!!!!

I'm not making it up! Rudy Tomjanovich made that famous quote after we won the NBA Finals in 1995. I like the Boston Celtics too be honest with you, and i wanted them to beat the Lakers. But as a Rockets fan, I stick with the fact that we have the heart of a champion and dominated the NBA Finals in the two years we won it. And we have a team that can do it.

The greatest thing was having that punk Kobe walk in thinking he would end the streak on national tv and instead get his ass handed to him in a paper bag by Shane Battier. '09 has been a down year so far for the Rox, but I think they're going to surprise some people come playoff time.

you sound kinda young.. what about Hakeem Olajuwon dominating Robinson after Robinson stole the MVP from him. Kenny Smiths record breaking number of 3's in a finals game, etc. 84-85 rockets were way more memorable than 2000's rockets

The Rocket are one of the top tier teams in the NBA trust me. If they get that 22 streak cemestry then its lights out in the west...... I love Kobe but it's T-Mac's time. The only nigga that can guard Kobe is himself and T-Mac!!!!! X3
