Yeah it was a great day. I wanted to fish the 100 yard long pier but it was closed because of the 20 yard swimming area 🤷♂️

That second lure looked like a Rapala lure, they’re great, I’ve caught a lot of fish with them.

I was at Selkirk in June for a wedding and thought about detecting the beach . My dad camps at Brennans and I detected that a few weeks ago. 12 quarters. Just one lucky stone.

I've detected the beach before. Very few finds because they constantly work it with machinery to keep it a sands beach. There are more and better targets up in the grassy area👍⛏

Man thats an awesome place. Nice finds. Looks like a good place to find the yuper lites. If they have them. I tried just one time to go to the creek in middle of night looking. We found one thing glowing. Walked over and shine regular light on it to see what it was and it was bird poop 😆

That's funny. I do plan on getting a uv light but I guess it has to be a good one.

We also have a few quarries near here that have agates. But collecting is strictly forbidden lol.

Cool man. Grew up close to Lake Erie. Yep looked like unakite. One of my fav’s. Can you find any close to where you are?

Agate!!!, I thought that stuff was called Canadian concrete, but what do I know, I'm just an urban idiot.

Lol. I'm not real clear about agates either but those ones have a funky agate look to them.
