Every time I play a song on score attack, your name's always at the number 1 spot. Keep it up man, you're amazing :)

Awesomely played. As a long time Maiden fan (since 1985 or so) nice to see and hear how much depth this play has. So much going on, vastly different sections.

Mrzack508 this down picking is nothing compared to blitzkrieg bop *shudders*
@chriscoughs5774

Blitzkrieg Bop is not that much. Unless if there's some sort of sarcasm that I'm too retarded to understand, I've been doing the downpicking successfully in that song for 5 months now. I've been playing for 7. I didn't try to play that song until I had been playing for a month and a half.

"My mind was blank" "I needed time to think to get the memories from my mind" If your mind is blank, how the fuck you got any memories?
@MrJMConnolly

My mind WAS blank. It took time to think and regain the memories from the back of his mind. Imagine it like waking up and remembering where you are in a strange place.

It isn't a paradox really. It is an expression. If your mind goes blank it isn't gone forever.

I'm gonna get my first guitar in a few days, how long do you think it would take me too nail solos like cemetery gates if I practice everyday for 1-2 hours? (I have about 6 months of experience on bass and I use rocksmith 2014 btw)
@knt650
8 жыл бұрын
I'd practice more outside of rocksmith and just use the game for fun and helping to play faster as you can still play notes when you don't hit them or if its sloppy it still picks it up. And btw if you soley focused on 1 song it'd probably take about a week to 3 weeks depending on the difficulty to get 100% or close.
@tombernard7917

if you work on that solo everyday for 1-2 hours, you will maybe nail the solo in 2 weeks (depends your skills on bass)

im playing on rocksmith everyday since november 2015,and now i can play solos on 90% but for good playing those songs solos, regulary playing 2 hours daily u can reach aim within 2 years

Hey Halsb, are there any songs you *know* you can play but not detection screws you over?
@yesto9676
8 жыл бұрын
every song probably when going for 100% :D
@halsb

The biggest problem I have with note detection is chord slides, so I don't even attempt songs like Blood and Thunder or Castles Made of Sand.
@professortusk
8 жыл бұрын
halsb Yeah Blood and Thunder really messes with me too. Same with the palm mutes in Everlong I hit maybe 5 of them. Is there anything I can do to improve note detection?
@halsb

You can make adjustments to the cable gain, display lag, and audio engine latency. This varies by guitar and system, so you'll have to figure out what works best with your setup.

how long does it roughly take you to master songs that are challenging knowing you have the experience and techniques ( not like play with me challenging lol)
@halsb

It took me 2-3 weeks to get Alter Bridge - Rise Today. Really challenging songs can take a lot longer. I started working on Tornado of Souls 6 months ago and am still not good enough to play it yet.
