The Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) was created in 1915 by an act of Congress. The Park consists of 265,873 pristine acres 1/3rd being fragile alpine tundra. RMNP has 300 miles of hiking trails throughout the Park. one of the most scenic features of RMNP is the Trail Ridge Road which is the highest continuously paved highway in the U.S. and connects Estes Park on the east side to Grand Lake on the west. RMNP has five developed campgrounds:
- Aspen Glen
- Glacier Basin
- Longs Peak
- Moraine Park
-Timber Creek
This video features the Moraine Park Campground which is located near Estes Park and the east entrance of RMNP. Moraine Park has 244 total camping sites, 101 of which are tent sites. The video takes you on a "driving tour" of the campground.
