I'll never forget the first time I saw a real mountain out west in the Wasatch mountains of Utah. I felt right at home! These videos are great for when I am impatient for my next trip, thanks.

It's beautiful as you can see the white snowy mountains in the distance. It looks like there is dry air.

Yes, the air up there tends to feel on the drier side.

Heh... I make that drive almost every time I ski. I live on the north side of the Springs, and Breck is pretty much our closest mountain if we take the back way instead of 70. Congratulations on crossing Hoosier Pass on dry roads; I almost always end up driving in heavy snow. This year they closed the pass while we were at the summit...some Texas family had tried hauling a small camper trailer up the Alma side in heavy snow and, of course, spun out and stalled, blocking both sides of Hwy 9 for a while.

This is the route we took leaving Breckenridge; we would have taken this route arriving at Breckenridge but the bridge was out; we try to avoid I-70 if at all possible

It's a nice route with great scenery. I-70 can be dangerous with bad traffic for sure!
