This is the rack I think I’m getting. Just a little more research before making a final decision.

I used to own a Yakima and Thule rack they wiggled too much, this rack is similar to the Kuat rack with the cam system. The cam system is a must and makes the rack solid to the hitch. My Kuat doesn't budge or move at all when the bikes are on it.

"Might as well put the strap on?" You always put the strap on.

If you needed to take the rack off and put it back on, how easy or difficult is it? Could a small woman do it?

this rack has similar design to the Thule that I have. Most of these hitch racks all have the same design flaw though. They do not come with a 3rd brake light. Since the car's original brake lights are impaired by the bikes, this reduces visibility for the drivers behind you. I added an aftermarket 3rd (or 4th I guess you could say) to my Thule.

MTBR - if you had to choose between the RM Splitrail and the Thule T2 Pro, what would you choose?

Are you able to give me the dimensions of the rack? Most importantly, if it is sitting on the ground in the folded up position (like it would be on the car), what is the measurement from the floor to the top of the rack? Thanks!

I don't like how it looks like the bike could roll off. Most of them seem to have bad designs.
