To a true fan of music across all genres and remixaholic like myself, Groovefunkel is Bacardi. Umm … mind blowing is the best word I can think of to describe Groovefunkel’s entire production. In addition to the precision perfect remixes and top notch sound quality, you get this crazy cool visual experience, including the fresh and hilarious Groovefunkel logo graphics … the Mary Tyler Moore, the Wendy’s, the old CBS Television Special Presentation … are you kidding me? Groovefunkel, baby! ✌🏻

A move away from Rod's normal stuff, you have cleaned this up and extended it to make it sound better than the original did and even that was pretty good!!! Fabulous!!

Without question the greatest mix of this Rod Stewart dance classic jam that I’ve ever heard! And I’ve heard several mixes of this song and this one just blows me away! That subtle intro that builds up, that saxophone in the chorus followed by the synthesizer organ and hearing Linda Lewis’ vocal track @ 2:49, WOW!! That was an awesome touch GROOVEFUNKEL! Never heard her before in all the times I played this song! This is definitely a keeper for me! GROOVIN’ WITH GROOVEFUNKEL AND LOVING IT! BRAVO BROTHER 👏🏼👏🏼 and keep bringing your multitracks magic! 🔥🔥🎶💃🏻🪩🕺🏻🎶🔥🔥

Ha. Thanks again for the nice comments. This is one of my favorite remixes. It hasn't received the reach I would have expected given the 70's popularity the original had. You just never know. But thanks again for your support!

I remember when this was on the radio constantly and I was beyond sick of it. This mix sounds like a new song. Love the way you feature different instruments. Bravo!

One of the fun things having the original recording session tracks is that often there are unused elements and/or alternate tracks. I am glad you are enjoying the remixes.

@@groovefunkel I'd be like a kid in a candy store if I had the tracks. I LOVE hearing the isolated instruments and alternate takes. I saw your website that you grew up on 70s music. Same here; 60s and 70s are my sweet spot.

I'm not sure if you are aware that Donna Summer was Rod Steward's greatest fan. She wrote "Dim All The Lights" with the intention to offer it to Rod as a song idea. It is rumored that the song "Hot Stuff" was based on "If You Think I'm Sexy". It would be nice if Groovefunkel could produce a mixup of "If You Think I'm Sexy" and"Hot Stuff".
