CLewey44 Rodman is in the HOF and he's still underrated. I think Rodman was honestly a top 30 player, even though most people place him at like 70 something. Rebounds control the game more than any other stat and Rodman was the best rebounder for his size that the NBA has ever seen.

Agreed. Unfortunately, that's not the only thing that died in the past years. Hard play, tough defense, strong team play, fundamentals...these all somehow went downhill the last few years. Few teams display this these days. Spurs are one of those few. Stern may have helped the NBA in his early days, but the last 10 years or so have been terrible, when comparing them to the Bulls of the 90's and the NBA in general in that era, IMO. Bring this NBA back!!!

I watched all the games back then. Dennis deserved absolutely the MVP. (And I am a crazy Jordan fan). 1-st, because he was an equal factor as MJ. He just dominated the whole finals with his presence. And 2-nd, because these are the only Finals, in which Jordan wasn's so dominant and effective. He was a bit tired from the 72:10 season. His stats were not very good (27 Pts with 42% FG) compared to his Finals averages of 33.6 and 48%.

Effing millennials....................
@LovingTinha

me too, i got goosebumps every time Jordan would hit one of his trademark fadeaways at a key moment and when they needed it most he didn't miss. The Sonics were also great, and they gave a good fight, but the Bulls system and role players just seemed to rise to the occasion so well. I think them knowing they had Jordan on their team made them all rise higher than their role. It was so exciting when the role players come in and start making big plays. Helped so much. Jordan is so misunderstood by these idiots nowadays, they call him selfish and just a scorer and all this other dumb shit, but they have no idea how great he was defensively and how he raised the teams confidence just from his presence and Leadership by example. He pushed them all at training so hard, that he made them into the most useful they could be. People often try to discredit Jordan when he left to play baseball because the Bulls did so well without him, but what they never recognize is that the culture he built there, was still there when he was playing baseball. And he proved his greatness when he came back the next full season and took the title again. The man is incredible. They also try to discredit his baseball career, because he never took it that far. But he improved consistently there, which is a testament to his work ethic. These cunts shitting on Jordan have no idea how truly great he was as an athlete. Effing Millennial's they didn't experience the Bulls and Jordan, so they just don't know what is better.

Rodman played in an era with many solid power forwards. When he first started playing, Kevin McHale was kind of in his twilight years, but in Rodman’s prime, there were other great power forwards in his time such as Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, Grant Hill, Larry Johnson, and a young Tim Duncan towards the end of his career. With the right team, Rodman was certainly a monster. He was awesome with the Pistons, but he totally shined as a Bull.

Rodman was incredibly underrated and I know people go what!? But people remember his antics. His technical fouls. His craziness off the court. But people don't remember •Although he got technicals, he was using that agressive basketball play to get under the skin of the opponents. And he did. Watch the series where he guarded Alonzo Mourning. Alot of the calls on Rodman were bs. Zo was throwing elbows to Rodman's head and he never flipped out. He kept playing those psychological games and he got to him. Like he did every opponent •He could play great defense. He was agressive and sure that got him in trouble alot of time but he also ticked off opponents because they couldn't get an easy shot off. •He sometimes scored in critical times. Rodman scoring is forgotten because he's such a great rebounder. But there were times when he rebounded the ball and got his pts that helped the Pistons/Bulls keep it close . Dennis Rodman was an incredible asset to a team when he was able to keep control on the court and help his team win.

I've been playing the DOS version of NBA Live '95 lately, and using SA Spurs a lot.
