He's my favorite person in the history of forever. Such a rad person and a beautiful soul, so much conviction and drive but at the same time super philosophical and humble. Back in 97 we were skating some rundown place in San Diego, Mullen shows up, skates with us like he's not even famous, helps us out with some things and just leaves like it was almost dinner time and he had to be home before his mom got mad. I thought it was a once in a lifetime thing but it's just what he does, he lives to skate and I'm glad he does because he is living art. Also he smelled like caramel and that was pretty dope

I was lucky enough to meet him at a demo that I was skating in back in 1984 ...what an amazingly genuine person even at such a young age...as he was mine........and unknowingly at the time his creativity and acrobatical genius became the foundation and precursor to just about every skateboard move ever executed (at the time and currently) and neither did he.... that's the beauty of Mullen and his craft.

Definition of the true bum, one can have all you want even all the money you'll ever need, able to go all over the world. That one can still be a bum. Did one really change so many lives? Bout the balance equil towards good and evil.? Made so many happi, while making so many more so angry.

We could easily end all hunger and wars, but there is no money in doing that. This has nothing to do with a genius stopping it, but with a shift in consciousness in hundreds of millions of people. Rodney made living an art and he inspired lots of people.
