Never underestimate Keith Moon. He was professional. Don't let his antics fool you. He was more disciplined than he's getting credit for.

Keith was not professional. The band never knew what Moon was taking. He was either insecure or what we today call had bad anxiety. He was a powerhouse drumming, but not professional, only Daltrey was “straight “ not wanting to hurt his voice. Daltrey said he tried pot but didn’t like it. This comment I’m responding to is eleven years old, it says. So, underestimating Moon doesn’t make sense. Maybe don’t be negative, but that’s just your opinion. He surprisingly lasted until 1978. Live at Leeds, Quadrophenia, and The Kids Are Alright are the 3 best albums ever. Professional isn’t a word applicable to bands. The Who stayed together because Daltrey wanted it to. Pete is alcoholic, Moon was an alcoholic and died while on prescription meds for that illness. Entwistle was coke addict, like 90% of the best bands in the seventies. Entwistle’s great song Trick of The Light is about his habit for hookers. He was unmatched as a bassist, but like all of us had vulnerabilities.

Pete's the main brain of the group but Rog is the one that initially asked Pete to join in.

Like classic golden age of Hollywood black and white films clifford odetts and preston stuffed screwball comedies. Aura and charisma on stage transition to a nuanced performance on camera. cheers Sir Roger

About 2004, it was included in UK and European DVD reissues of Tommy the Movie. Sadly North American DVD and Blu-Ray pressings of Tommy the Movie never got really great extras other than the original 5.0 mix.
